Musicale & Spirited Tea Party

Sunday, April 17, 2016

Lively music from the 19th century filled the hall of the Kent Community House when the Kent Historical Society hosted a benefit event, a Musicale and Spirited Tea Party. The music, played by the Rosewood Chamber Ensemble, was performed on antique instruments. Author and former BBC broadcaster Frank Delaney delighted guests with several period readings. Attendees sipped tea or hearty libations and tasted authentic treats, both sweet and savory, researched and created for the occasion by Patsy Stroble and a group of bakers at two different workshops.
