Arethusa Al Tavolo

Arethusa Dairy Farm has been a touchstone of the Bantam community since 1868. The new owners, George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis, revived the farm and its name in 1999 and have recently been sparking major buzz with their celebrated restaurant, Arethusa Al Tavolo. Opened last year in June, the restaurant has quickly become acclaimed across the state and beloved in the community for its fine service and incredible food. The chef uses the farm's dairy products exclusively and the finest quality ingredients in the daily menu.

Word of mouth for Arethusa Al Tavolo is strong, helped no doubt by the culinary expertise of head chef Dan Magill and by the fact that the Arethusa Farm owners, also own and operate high-end shoe brand Manolo Blahnik. Magill has curated a menu that includes entree staples such as pan roasted diver scallops and prime strip loin and starters, tatare of yellowtail and duck confit crepe. The wine menu, as one can imagine, is large and in-depth. Don’t worry, your sweet tooth can also be well taken care of with the impressive desert menu. If looking for a specific reason to head to Bantam this weekend, you need no other reason then Arethusa Al Tavolo. It is definitely worth the trip!
