SENSUAL AND SPIRITUAL RENAISSANCE VOICES:
SOULFUL SONG & DANCE

March 16th, Friday, 6PM
March 18th, Sunday, 4PM

Crescendo Vocal Ensemble and dance company Moving Arts Exchange have partnered to capture the essence of Leonhard Lechner and Josquins Masses through sound alongside movement. The original choreography by the members of the company highlights the beauty and meditative character of pieces in the programs via modern dance. The program itself includes Leonhard Lechner’s Song of Solomon, setting the two first chapters of the highly sensualized text to music. As a counterpoint is Josquins Masses’ popular French secular song The Armed Man, which is a distinctly early Renaissance composition. Purchase tickets online $10 Children, $35-60 Adults.
