Owned by Natalie and Greg Randall, the business has expanded over the years to feature many of Mr. Randall’s own creations. “People joke that our theme is big and heavy,” quipped Natalie Randall this week. “We have three buildings at our site at 22 South Main Sreet where we do manufacturing, finishing, shipping and have a show room, but we felt we needed a bigger showroom.”

Now the couple has expanded into a new area, taking over the former Morrison Gallery space at 8 Old Barns Road, a location known for its generous proportions and luminous light. “Kent Barns Road is our finished gallery,” Randall continued. “It gives everything some room to breathe. Visitors can walk around everything.”

It also attracts pedestrian traffic, introducing the high-end antiques shop to more potential patrons.

“We’re going to maintain both places,” said Randall. “I think people have been wowed by the new gallery, but a lot of people have said, ‘I hope you are not giving up your old location.’ The two venues are very different. People like to come into 22 South Street and dig around. There is an element of a treasure hunt.”

Hours at 22 South Main Street are Monday-Saturday, 9 AM-5 PM and Sundays 12PM-5PM. At the Kent Barns Gallery, hours are Thursday-Saturday, 10AM-5PM., Sunday, 12PM-5PM and by appointment. Call 860-927-1700.
