Summertide Festival

A warm summer sun on your shoulders, a lovely vista to look at, a cool glass of wine in your hand and some of the best music in the region to listen to—life doesn’t get much better than that. And you can have it all this weekend at SUMMERTIDE 2017 at Cascade Mountain Winery & Restaurant in Ancram NY.

The music, food and wine event will take place July 7th through the 9th, and will feature such talent as classic American singer-song writer Jonathan Edwards, E’lissa Jones, Advanced Phunk, Cole Quest, Woody Guthrie’s grandson, and more.

Fireworks in celebration of Cascade Mountain’s 40th anniversary will begin at 9:30PM Friday night.

Foods by executive chefs Maria Laura Quintero of MuchaChula Catering and Donna Hanusik of Cascade Mountain’s restaurant will be available throughout the weekend. Food and beverages are additional but there will be tasting opportunities from an array of local wineries, breweries, distilleries and restaurants.

There will be wine bars serving and selling wines by the glass from selected wineries including Cascade Mountain, Hillrock, Hudson Chatham Winery, Millbrook Winery, Chaseholm, Old Chatham, Sprout Creek, and Jacuterie, to name a few.

Events begin Friday at 6PM and continue, rain or shine, Saturday, 3–10 PM and Sunday, noon – 5PM. Tickets are free for children younger than 12; $40 for persons younger than 21; $80 for an adult day pass, or $125 for a weekend pass. It is recommended that those attending bring chairs and/or blankets.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Amenia Fire & Rescue.
