Easter Bunny Express

There is no doubt the Easter Bunny gets around this time of year. Inevitably he must get tired hopping down the Bunny Trail so a chance to rest his paws and to ride the Naugatuck Railroad's Easter Bunny Express must come as a welcome break.

The railroad is offering an 80-minute train ride through the beautiful Litchfield Hills for the cordial bunny and his young fans. Passengers on these trains enjoy a stop at the Bunny Patch where children will have the chance to help rescue the Easter Bunny's rubber duck friends.

All children will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny himself as well as receive a chocolate-filled egg from his very own collection. They will also receive Easter baskets and complementary snacks. Adult beverages are available for purchase.

Prices range from $22 for coach seats to $39 for lounge seats. The train will run Saturday and Sunday, April 12th and 13th and Friday and Saturday, April 17th and 18th. Trains depart at 10AM, 12, 2 and 4PM from 242 East Main Street in Thomaston.
