Fine Home Source

From animal care to woodworking, Fine Home Source 2016 will have it all this Saturday when it comes to the Millbrook Bandshell at 3327 Franklin Avenue.

Between the hours of 10AM and 5PM visitors can view goods and services—ranging from architects to boutiques to murals and party rentals—provided by some sixty exhibitors. This year a number of new features will be offered such as a wine and cheese tasting, maple syrup and ice cream tasting, a couture fashion show, book signings, live jazz throughout the day and a fly fishing demonstration.

There will be traditional artisans such as furniture makers, faux finishers, plasterers and millwork as well as the latest in green solutions such as geo-thermal systems, solar alternatives and eco-friendly building products.

AV systems, energy-efficient appliances, whole house generators and wine cellars will be featured.

There will even be experts in landscape design and related products available to help homeowners put the finishing touches on their home’s surroundings such as fencing, weathervanes, saunas and pools.

The 2016 Fine Home Source show will also feature a Plein Air Art Event & Auction. Twenty-five artists will be on site, creating paintings inspired by their surroundings. At the end of the day, all the paintings will be available for purchase in a silent auction.

The event is sponsored by Crisp Architects of Millbrook. A $2 suggested donation benefits The Millbrook Rotary Shelter Box program.
