HIGH MUD COMEDY FEST: MUSEUM MOCKERY
March 29th-30th, Friday - Saturday

This year’s High Mud Comedy Fest has a line-up of all-star comedians including Judah Friedlander as the headliner. It also includes comedy workshops, mocking museum tours and hilarious musical interludes. Best known for his roles in 30 Rock and the cult-classic Wet Hot American Summer, Friedlander’s recent Netflix special America Is the Greatest Country in the United States has been a huge hit. Throughout the day on Saturday, Chicago’s famed improv troupe, Second City—with alumni that include Bill Murray, Steve Carrell, Tina Fey, Jordan Peele and Stephen Colbert—will be offering workshops to help you hone your best bits. KEN LUDWIG’S BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY

Comedic genius Ken Ludwig has transformed Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic The Hound of the Baskervilles into a murderously funny adventure. As the male heirs of the Baskerville family are being dispatched one-by-one, Sherlock Holmes is on the case, aided of course by his trusty partner Dr. Watson. Watch the intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying maze of clues, silly accents, disguises and deceit in a production that features five actors deftly portraying more than forty characters. Enjoy American folk duo Sweet Sweet at the atmospheric Race Brook Lodge. Hailing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jeremy Dunham and Kerrine Gifford blend the elegance and mood of cello, played by Kerrine, and the rustic roots of acoustic guitar, played by Jeremy. The duo crafts simple songs filled with heartfelt stories and a little bit of that Southern charm. $10 donation.
