A VENERATED VENUE: LIFE AND TIMES AT MUSIC INN

For long-time Berkshire residents and visitors, the Music Inn needs no introduction. From the fifties through the seventies it was the happening place in Lenox, serving up American and African-American musical tradition from the likes of Louis Armstrong, Bruce Springsteen, Billie Holliday and so many musical legends. This lively celebration of such a unique piece of Berkshire history invites all to share their stories, watch excerpts from the Music Inn Documentary and fill you in on the next phase of Music Inn.  Tickets can be purchased online. $10 GA, Free for Members of The Mount.

“FUN DAY” @ BLUE RIDER STABLES

This Saturday, Blue Rider Stables is hosting their 23rd Annual “Fun Day” at French Park. There is fun to be had for all ages, in particular for our younger friends! Popular NYC children’s singer Bari Koral will be bringing her “infectious, kid-friendly pop-tunes” to the Berkshires alongside healthy & delicious food, vaulting demonstrations, pony rides, hay rides and more! All funds raised at the event support this wonderful community organization that offers Equine Therapy. Free.

THRILL OF THE GRILL: GRILLSDALE 2017

The ULTIMATE for a smokin’ good time, this redefined hootenanny returns to highlight the bounty of Columbia, Dutchess and Berkshire counties. Featuring local foods, local libations, live music and local chefs who have been tasked with preparing their best grilled small plates.
