PLAY WITH FIRE: OPEN-GRILL EXTRAVAGANZA
August 11th, Saturday 3 - 9PM

James Beard award-winning chef Zak Pelaccio of Fish & Game and BackBar is once again thrilled to announce the return of “Play with Fire,” a food event bringing exceptional chefs and bartenders from around the country for a day of cooking over open fire at Fish & Game Farm. The event raises money for The Heirloom Foundation—an organization that helps industry professionals address mental health issues and increase quality of life. Chef Pelaccio loves the collaboration between the chefs and “working with excellent local product in this very elemental way, and bringing together strangers, neighbors and friends to celebrate.” Fish & Game Farm, the 170-acre grounds which provide the produce, poultry and honey to its namesake restaurant, will be the home of the event, with various tents, gathering areas, fire pits, smokers and grills—including the one-of-a-kind grilling apparatuses designed by local sculptor Kris Perry over which the chefs will cook. There will also be live music performed by Club D’Elf. $195 Adults, $95 Children (ages 6-12), and free for children under age 5.
