BERKSHIRE MUSEUM FESTIVAL OF TREES: LIGHT IT UP
Saturdays,  November 24th - December 22nd, 5 - 7PM

A sure sign the the holiday season is upon us, Berkshire Museum’s Festival of Trees has returned, when the twinkling lights are ablaze on every tree but the galleries are dark. This year’s indoor forest of imaginatively decorated trees is music-themed, with each tree festooned with musical motifs, in the dreamy atmosphere during evening hours. Guess the song title that matches each tree’s décor—From hip-hop to doo-wop, blues and jazz to pop, country and rock . $3 Members, $5 General

BERKSHIRE BACH: HANDEL’S MESSIAH SING
November 24th, Saturday, 4PM

The First Congregational Church's Berkshire Bach Society will take a break from Johann Sebastian to perform its annual Thanksgiving-week community tradition—a sing along of Handel's Messiah. Led by choral director Frank Nemhauser, and accompanied by the Berkshire Bach Players, the only missing ingredient is you, as the audience will be the choir. So drink some hot tea, rest your voice and bring your best Hallelujah!

CRESCENDO PRESENTS THE FOUR FREEDOMS:
PAINTINGS IN SONG

November 24th, Saturday, 5:30 - 6:30PM

Enjoy the Four Freedoms in song with choral ensemble Crescendo, led by artistic director Christine Gevert, and Berkshire-based composer John Myers. Paintings in Song was inspired by Norman Rockwell’s art. His compositions reflect Rockwell’s timeless images in a musical setting, highlighting the continued cultural relevance represented in the artist’s Four Freedoms among others. Free for Museum members or included with Museum admission.

TINSELINER TRAINS WITH SANTA CLAUS
November 24th - December 16th, Saturday & Sunday, Departures at 12PM, 2PM and 4PM

Enjoy a 1950s Christmas train ride with a visit from Santa in true vintage BerkshireStyle. The trip includes a layover at the PopCares Tree Lot to find the perfect tree to bring home with you. Look out at the snowy scenery while you enjoy hot cocoa and roasted marshmallows. Proceeds benefit the PopCares organization. $20 Adults, $16 for children 12 and under.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL: GREAT GREAT GREATNESS

The great, great grandson of literary icon Charles Dickens is coming to the Berkshires to perform his captivating rendition of timeless seasonal classic, A Christmas Carol. An actor and producer hailing from Oxford, England, Gerald created this one-man show inspired by Charles’ own energetic readings of the 1860s. He plays 26 characters using his vocal and physical talents to bring each scene vividly to life, Gerald has brought audiences across the world to their feet. Reservations are highly recommended! $50.
