Improv Comedy Workshop

Thinking on your feet is essential in the 21st century with its myriad of opportunities and challenges, and the staff of community television CTV-192 will help area residents learn how to improvise Saturday, January 12th, from 2 to 3:30 PM in the Kent Library Reading Room.

The CTV192 team will guide participants through five improvisational comedy exercises, beginning very simply and increasing in challenge. Space is limited, and those wishing to participate in this free event should sign up at the front desk or visit the Library’s online calendar. The workshop is open to anyone over the age of 15, but teens ages 15 to17 must be accompanied by an adult.

CTV-192 has also been providing custom and advanced free training classes in video production for more than 20 years. Programs on music, art, politics, news, weather and more can all be found on the local channel and are being produced by members of the local community. A new class begins in February.
