Summer Book Signing

In an area steeped in tradition, a new tradition has been established in Sharon where each summer the Hotchkiss Library invites 30-plus authors and illustrators to bring their books to an en masse Summer Book Signing on the town green.

They are gathered from throughout the tristate region - and occasionally from beyond - and bring everything from children’s stories to cookbooks, biographies to books on gardening, summer reading to serious tomes on political science.

Thirty-two are slated to be at this year’s signing on July 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event takes place under tents, where attendees sample wine and hors d’oeuvres while searching out their favorite authors. Admission is $30.
