The Village Herbalist
The Village Herbalist in Millerton is truly a jack-of-all trades. One part herbal apothecary (think teas and salves) one part store filled with plant-based cleaning supplies, crystals and meditation tools, and even yoga clothes. Basically, The Village Herbalist is your one-stop shop for the mind, body and soul.
In addition to the wide selection of natural and holistic products available in the store, a separate studio space offers classes, workshops and yoga.
The store opened in 2011, the Wellness Studio in Summer 2013, by owner Terri Lundquist, who has a steadfast goal in her businesses; “How can I, with this shop and the studio, serve my community? In what ways can I facilitate healing, inspiration, a sense of belonging, education, compassion, and empowerment?" She continues, “At the studio, our purpose is focused on providing transformational experiences that inspire you to open your heart and mind. We aim to foster healing, learning, and compassion in a safe, and often sacred, environment.”
In the coming months the studio will host Meditation groups, vibrational sound immersion healing, Reiki circles, tarot classes and readings just to name a few. With so many to offer, Lundquist can help you find a class that suits you.
