Allman Family Revival

The Allman Family Revival will bring its 18-city tour to the Warner Theater this Sunday, December 4th, at 8 PM. The concert is a celebration of the life, spirit and music of Gregg Allman, co-founder of the group, who died in 2017.

The show will feature music from the historic Allman catalog while also giving guest artists a chance to play some of their own songs. It will be hosted by his son, Blues Music Award-winning artist Devon Allman, and anchored by his group, The Devon Allman Project

What started out as a tribute has evolved into one of the biggest jams of the year. Guest artists and opening acts vary city to city but all shows feature an epic light show and 40-foot video wall with imagery unique to the Allman family.

Performers this year include Devon Allman, Larry McCray, Donavon Frankenreiter, Maggie Rose, Alex Orbison (son of Roy Orbison), Duane Betts (son of Dickey Betts) John Ginty & Johnny Stachela (Allman Betts Band), The River Kittens, Jimmy Hall (Jeff Beck Band, Wet Willie) and many more.

Gregg Allman, musician, singer and songwriter, formed the Allman Brothers Band in 1969 with his brother, Duane, and reached mainstream success in 1971 with their live album, At Fillmore East. Shortly thereafter, Duane was killed in a motorcycle crash and Greg Allman began a solo career with Laid Back the same year. He later reformed the band.
