Big Elm Brewery

It is the season of the Oktoberfest beer. Almost every brewery, large and small, has their own version of the classic German festival brew.

This week’s favorite thing, Big Elm Brewery’s Octobock, takes the traditional festival beer to a whole new level. It is a hybrid between a classic Oktoberfest and a German style bock.

If you aren’t quite sure what that means, do not fear. All you need to know is that it is delicious, smooth and easily drinkable. Noble German hops give the beer a present, yet subtle hop flavor, which balances the sweetness of the malt. Not to mention 8% alcohol, who can argue with that?

The beer is only available for a limited time, so stop by the brewery in Sheffiled or check their website for a list of retailers!
