Caroling to the Cows

Christmas replenishes the soul with its message of peace on earth. Churchtown Dairy in Hudson, which seeks to replenish the Earth itself through Biodynamic farming, will bring the serene imagery of the manger to life December 1st, from 5-7PM when opens its round dairy barn for "caroling to the cows."

Participants will sit on hay bales surrounded by cows and sheep and will be led in song by the Lime Rock, CT-based Crescendo Singers. The Singers will be accompanied by an ensemble of period brass instruments. Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Homemade cookies and hot chocolate will be served. Admission is $10 with children younger than 3 admitted free.

The Rockefeller-owned Churchtown Dairy is a working biodynamic farm that promotes sustainable agriculture and regenerative communities. The 250-acre property manages a 28-cow biodynamic raw milk dairy herd. Visitors are welcome. It is located at 357 County Road 12, Hudson NY.
