Chaiwalla Tea Room
Heading to Salisbury this weekend for the Ski Jumps? We have a restaurant we recommend you visit.
Beloved by locals, Chaiwalla is a great spot for brunch, lunch or a pot of tea. Their chai tea is truly their calling card, made with actual tea (no syrups or concentrates) and served in a charming pot kept warm by a candle.
The menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches such as the popular tuna curry with raisins and apples, fruit filled french toasts, savory soups and too-good-to-resist desserts. You can not go wrong ordering anything from the menu but Chaiwalla devotees will definitely recommend the house specialty, tomato pie, which combines ripe tomatoes and a flaky crust to perfection.
It's important to mention the cozy and relaxed décor that adds to the overall experience because as the winter months continue, there is hardly a better place to enjoy the falling snow than with a steaming hot pot of tea at Chaiwalla.
