Chamber Concert

At Tanglewood

The TLI Chamber Concert series continues Sunday, March 8th, at 3PM in Studio E of the Linde Center for Music and Learning at Tanglewood, 3 West Hawthorne Road in Lenox.

As part of Tanglewood Learning Institute’s year-round programing, members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra will present a program with two major chamber works.

TLI’s chamber concerts offer audiences an up-close experience with musicians from one of the nation’s leading orchestras in an intimate recital setting. These concerts feature everything from familiar favorites to classic mainstays and new music by contemporary composers, often performed with special guests.

The ensemble performing on March 8th features Christopher Elchico (clarinet), Josh Baker (bassoon), Rachel Childers (horn), Lisa Ji Eun Kim (violin), Mary Ferrillo (viola), Roric Cunningham (cello), and Carl Anderson (bass). Together they will perform Carl Nielsen’s Serenata in vano and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Septet in E-flat, Op. 20.

Advance tickets are available through the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s box office and website; seating in Studio E is limited.
