Dine Out for History

The North East Historical Society and five Millerton restaurants have found a way to make history more palatable for the general public. On select dates between January 27th and March 7th, the restaurants will support the first annual Dine Out for History event.

Ten percent of the proceeds from all patrons those nights will be donated to the historical society to support its research, digitize its collection and make historic content more available to the public, particularly educators.

Diners can choose which restaurant(s) to frequent on the designated nights, but they are encouraged to make reservations where required and mention Dine Out for History.

The first event is at The Millerton Inn, 53 Main Street this Sunday. An optional brief presentation on the inn will be at 5:30PM for those who want to come early. It will be offered with a glass of wine and guests can enjoy their dinners at the inn from 5 to 9PM. Dinner reservations are requested and may be made by calling 518-592-1900.
