Fireside Reflection

Take a step back from the hurly-burly of December Monday at 6:00PM when Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center offers a meditative moment at its farmhouse fireside at 229 East Litchfield Road in Litchfield.

Sr. Pat Torre will lead the Advent Fireside Reflection. The word 'advent' literally means 'coming' and it is a time of reflection on the coming of Christ into the world at his birth. It is also a time of preparation when Christians think about the second coming of Christ and what they need to do to be ready for his return.

Torre, who has a Master’s Degree in theology, has years of experience working as a pastoral associate and as a spiritual director. Well prepared to lead the group in this meditation, she is also a Reiki Master and is open to learning and growing from a global community encompassing all faiths and traditions.
