Fireworks Displays

With so many things changing in today's world, firework shows remain popular and the same - huge turnouts with people of all ages looking at them bursting in air. Luckily there are many opportunities to enjoy the spectacular sights in our neck of the woods, from Lime Rock Park's famous show to Poughkeepsie's display over the Hudson River. We've gathered the information, now just choose the one for you.

July 2 2016

Lime Rock Connecticut
The wildly-popular event at Lime Rock Park attracts spectators from all over Connecticut, so get there early. Gates open at 6:30PM for the fireworks shown shortly after 9PM.

New Milford Connecticut
On the Town Green from 6:30PM-10PM. Rain date, Friday July 29.

Poughkeepsie New York
The city's annual fireworks extravaganza is not to be missed. There are many opportunities to view the spectacular that are free of charge but the walkway over the Hudson River is an amazing option for just $10. 7PM-10PM

July 4 2016

Albany New York
Enjoy great food, entertainment and the best fireworks around! 11AM-8PM at Empire State Plaza.

Germantown New York
Clermont State Historic Site hosts its annual Old-Fashioned Independence Day. The day includes 18th century crafts, hot food and period entertainment before ending with fireworks over the Hudson River. 2PM-10PM.

Lenox Massachusetts
James Taylor plays his annual gig at his hometown venue of Tanglewood, concluding the evening with fireworks. Tickets for his show have been sold out for weeks but the fireworks should still be easy to spot. 8PM.

North Adams Massachusetts
One of the most prestigious in Western Massachusetts. After the annual Fourth of July SteepleCats game, fireworks will start at 9:30 PM.

July 9 2016

Otis Massachusetts
14th annual fireworks over Otis Reservoir begins at dusk. Rain date is July 16th.

Torrington Connecticut
Gates open at 4PM for the 9:15PM show seen by over 10,000 attendees the previous year.

North Canaan Connecticut
Held at Lawrence Field, the fireworks finish off Railroad Days, which is chock full of family-friendly events over the course of two weeks. 9PM-10PM.
