Got Your Goat

As we noted in our feature story this week, it is a mystery as to why rabbits have become the deliverers of Easter eggs. Perhaps it is even a greater mystery if you throw baby goats into the equation.

Nevertheless, Got Your Goat Farm’s plan to have an egg hunt and Easter Party on April 15th from 10 AM to 2 PM seems like serendipity. What could be more fun than exploring the farm, looking for Easter eggs in the company of a bunch of way-too-adorable kids!

The goats will be dressed up in Easter outfits for a fun and colorful parade; everyone who comes can partake in a farm walk with the herd.

Goats, notoriously curious critters, will surround visitors as they seek out candy and special goat treat eggs. Participants should note that the eggs for humans contain candy and may contain peanuts or tree nuts.

Tickets, at $30 plus eventbrite fees, are per child and adults are admitted free. Go to eventbrite. Donations always welcome to defray goat vet bills. Wear appropriate footwear and park on the side of the road or in the field (if ground conditions allow)
.
The farm is located at 59 Wheaton Road just off Route 202 in Washington Depot. The rain date will be the following day, also from 10 AM until noon.
