BERKSHIRE THEATRE CRITICS PANEL: SUMMER REVIEW
September 13th, Friday, 10:30AM - 12PM

Come hear the Berkshire Theatre Critics Panel review the entire 2019 summer on stage. Each year they have an enormous amount of productions. The panel will share their thoughts about this year’s winners and losers and the season at large. Take this opportunity to share your opinion about your favorites (and less favorite) to encourage dialogue about the many fascinating productions this summer and the many challenging topics they covered. Free.

ARTS NIGHT OUT: PLUSHY LOVE
September 13th, Friday, 7 - 9PM

Create your own one-of-a-kind mini plush character in this fun IS183 evening workshop. Work with instructor Brielle Rizzotti who will teach you introductory hand-sewing techniques and help you explore the fundamentals of character design to bring your original plush creation to life. With imagination, whimsy, some practical skills and a beverage of your choosing (the event is BYOB). This adult workshop is sure to be a blast. And who knows? You might even create the next famous kid’s character! $35 Non-members, $10 Members.

BUTTERFLY CELEBRATION FESTIVAL: WINGED WONDERS
September 14th, Saturday, 10AM - 3PM

In honor of their new Butterfly House, Sharon Audubon Center is hosting a special day-long celebration of the amazing world of butterflies. The day includes fun for the whole family from the tours of the Butterfly House and the Pollinator Garden to the “Pollinator Bioblitz”—an insect catching and butterfly ID activity—to Monarch Life Cycle Activities for kids. There will also be a Butterfly Boutique, crafts for kids, live music and food. $10 Adults, $5 Children 12 & Under.

WALKING TOUR: LITCHFIELD ARCHITECTURE

Back by popular demand, the Litchfield History Museum’s walking tour of Litchfield reveals the town’s history and stories that have been preserved in the stunning architecture. Learn about the lives of past residents and how their personalities shaped their architectural choices which in turn shaped the town as we know it. Free members, $5 Non-members.

THE WAY OF NATURE: YOGA, PERMACULTURE, MEDITATION
