The Salisbury Forum presents its next talk, The Cyberweapons Arms Race, with Nicole Perlroth who covers cybersecurity and digital espionage for The New York Times. She has covered Russian hacks of nuclear plants, the power grid, airports and elections, North Korea’s cyberattacks against movie studios, banks and hospitals, Iranian attacks on oil companies and dam operators and hundreds of Chinese cyberattacks, including a months-long attack of the The Times. In this presentation she will focus on “the untold story of the cyber arms market—the most secretive, invisible, government-backed market on earth and look into a new kind of global warfare.” Free.

In this entirely true coming-of-middle-age story, dancer and actor Mimi Quillin brings audiences with her into the inner sanctum of two of the greatest giants the theatre world has ever known; Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon. Written and performed by Quillin and directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Berresse in Call Fosse at the Minksoff Quillin recounts her experience working with Fosse and Verdon on what would be their final collaboration, investigating the life-altering effects of proximity to true greatness and revealing all the thrills and terrors of walking the high wire on the riskiest platform in entertainment. $35 - 65.

MR. SATURDAY NIGHT: FEATURING BILLY CRYSTAL

Billy Crystal is coming to the Berkshires in a presentation of a new musical comedy in development, Mr. Saturday Night, which tells of one man’s meteoric rise to the middle. Crystal reprises his role as stand-up comedian Buddy Young Jr. that he played in the original 1992 film of the same name which also marked his directorial debut. The play also stars Tony Award winner Randy Graff (Broadway’s City of Angels, Fantine in Les Miserables), David Payer (City Slickers, Quiz Show, State & Main) returns to his film role as Buddy’s brother—for which he received an Oscar nomination. Billy Crystal will do Q&A sessions several evenings, available for American Express members. $100 - 135.
