BERKSHIRE SYMPOSIUM 2024: SPRING INTO GARDENING

The Western Massachusetts Gardener Association is presenting the 17th Annual Spring into Gardening symposium with gardeners at the top of their field. Choose from two sessions, which include "Starting a Vegetable Garden," "Composting Happens," "Ornamental Alternatives," and "Living Walls." Between sessions there will be complimentary beverages and snacks, houseplants, book, garden sales and a garden raffle. $40.

FINAL FOUR: MARCH MADNESS @ THE PARK

As the NCAA Basketball Tournament whittles from a field of 64 hopefuls down to The Final Four teams, The Judy Memorial Park and Gardens invites the community to join the fun and festivities at a free, family-friendly watch party on Saturday. Back by popular demand after their recent appearance at the park's Football Watch Party is the Meraki Food Truck which will be on site to satisfy game day cravings with a special menu available for purchase. Join your family, friends and neighbors for an afternoon and evening of fun as you cheer on your favorite team to victory. Free.

BERKSHIRE ART CENTER BENEFIT: ROCOCO RAKU REVELRY

FAR, FAR BETTER THINGS: FRESH TAKES PLAY READING SERIES

WAM is proud to present the first reading of the latest version of Far, Far Better Things by acclaimed playwright Geetha Reddy. Inspired by Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities, this new play tells the tale of two women--Pilar, a Latina domestic worker and Zoe, a young South Asian doctor--separated by class, race and the unspoken rules of modern womanhood. The two women struggle to balance their responsibilities to their children, to themselves, and to each other. In the end, they must decide if they are on the same or opposing sides. $24 - $50.

WOODFIRED WESTERLY: POP-UP AT THE LANTERN

Westerly Canteen is partnering with their friends and neighbors, The Lantern. After a long hibernation, what better way to emerge than warming up in this favorite local hang and cooking out of their wood oven.
