ORNAMENTS SHOWCASE AND WORKSHOP

Enjoy this opening reception of “Ornaments at Round”—a holiday show and sale featuring ornaments made by over 45 regional artists working in a variety of media including wood, metal, ceramics, painting, fiber and paper with an emphasis on ceramics. Chat with the artists, shop for local handmade gifts and kick off the holiday season. The show will run through December 28th. Round is also offering an Ornament Making Workshop where you will start with pieces of clay and use hand-building and surface techniques to create custom ornaments. Free for Opening Reception, $40 Workshop.

FLOCK: EXHIBITION TOUR AND ARTIST TALK

Your last chance to enjoy the final weekend of Robin Crofut-Brittingham’s exhibition, Flock, with a special tour and artist talk. The exhibition features over 300 hand-painted birds from around the world from her new book The Illuminated Book of Birds. During the tour, Crofut-Brittingham offers insight into her creative process, the evolution of the book and the interplay between research, storytelling and artistic imagination. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the artist and experience the original artworks that bring her book to life. Free.

THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS: DELIGHTFULLY DYSFUNCTIONAL

Join BIFF in celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Wes Anderson’s acclaimed comedy gem, The Royal Tenenbaums, about the reunion of a dysfunctional New York family led by patriarch Gene Hackman.
