GUINEA PIGS & GRATITUDE: MEET & GREET
December 7th, Sunday, 10:30AM - 11:30AM
All are welcome to join a morning of interaction with the delightful, sociable guinea pigs of Le Petit Ranch. Guided by Marjorie Borreda, you’ll meet the guinea pigs and learn about the kindness and gratitude that are part of their way of life. You’ll also do a bit of writing or drawing inspired by your interactions with the guinea pigs. Make sure to stop by Scoville’s Friends of the Library Books & Bling Sale for some gently used jewelry and books. Free.

W.E.B. DU BOIS: REBEL WITH A CAUSE FUNDRAISER
December 6th, Saturday, 3PM - 5PM
Ceelebrate and support the completion of the upcoming PBS American Masters film W.E.B. DU BOIS: REBEL WITH A CAUSE in Great Barrington, beloved hometown of Du Bois. Directed by Peabody and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Rita Coburn, the documentary spans the 95-year life, work and multi-genre writings of this pivotal civil rights trailblazer. Scheduled to air in spring 2026, the film production was affected by federal funding cuts. With this fundraiser creators hope to recoup lost funds and to finish this worthy and highly anticipated documentary. Du Bois’ story can inspire a new generation. Hors d’oeuvres, wine, sneak previews (including Oscar-winning stars) and a Q & A. $100.
