Hudson Jazz Festival

The Hudson Jazz Festival will fill the air with virtuosic jazz performances in multiple venues across one of the Hudson Valley’s most beautiful small towns Friday, October 4th, through Sunday, October 6th.

Coming at the peak of fall foliage season, the event will provide both visual and auditory sensations as the festival gets out onto the streets for popup performances all weekend long.

Ekep Nkwelle takes to the Hudson Hall Mainstage at 7 PM when she performs Ella Fitzgerald—Against All Odds. She is followed at 9PM by the festival’s opening party at Return Brewing, 725 State Street in Hudson. There will be live music by PHAT Inc. accompanied by vocalist Imani-Amie Murphy.

Saturday, free Sounds Around Town performances begin at 11AM at Pocket Park where the Cherry Wu Quintet will perform. Miles Taylour & The Upstate perform at 1PM at 7th Street Park, with Tony Kieraldo following at 3PM at Patrona. Also at 3PM, BarQ plays at BackBar and Sparrow Lore concludes the afternoon at 4PM at Union Street Brewing Company.

The main event of the day will be the Riley Mulherkar Quartet performing at 7PM on Hudson Hall Mainstage. That is followed at 9PM by Late Night at The Half Moon with Jesse Fisher on keyboard, Irwin Hall, saxophone and Kyle Miles, bass.
